HALIFAX -- New Brunswick RCMP has arrested two people and charged one in relation to a suspicious structure fire at a business in early November.

On Nov. 3, RCMP and the Bouctouche Fire Department responded to reports of a fire at La Taverne à Joe on Irving Boulevard in Bouctouche, N.B.

Once crews arrived, they determined the building was completely destroyed by fire.

Police say the business was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

Nobody was injured.

On Saturday, 40-year-old Ricky Belliveau from Saint-Marie-de-Kent, N.B., and a 44-year-old woman also from Saint-Louis-de-Kent were arrested in connection to the investigation.

The woman was later released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date. Police have not released any more information about the female suspect.

On Sunday, Belliveau appeared in Moncton Provincial Court by way of tele-remand facing one count of arson.

He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return in court on Nov. 25 for a bail hearing.
