Garlic, Cheese and Bacon Naan

Makes 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 Naan
  • 4 oz garlic butter (recipe below)
  • 4 oz double smoked bacon lardon
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded (we used Dairy Isle’s mozzarella cheese)
  • Garlic Butter
  • 1 lb. salted butter (we used Dairy Isle’s salted butter)
  • 6 cloves garlic, diced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 12 chives, finely diced
  • 6 sprigs parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Add salted butter and garlic to a stand mixer and mix on high for 3-4 minutes, until well combined.
  2. Add lemon juice, chives, parsley and salt.
  3. Mix to combine.
  4. Butter the naan with the garlic butter, cover with mozzarella and finish with bacon lardon.
  5. Bake in a 500F oven or grill for 5 to 6 minutes until the cheese is melted and turning golden in colour.
  6. Remove from oven and cut as desired.
