The QEII is your health centre.
The QEII is the largest adult health sciences centre in Atlantic Canada, serving as the specialized care centre in areas such as heart health, cancer care, neurosurgery, and organ transplantation. With over one million patient visits annually, the QEII Health Sciences Centre touches all families in Nova Scotia.
Since 2003, the lotteries have raised over $60 million in net revenue (proceeds), which has been directed to health care at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. This money has gone directly to help strengthen care for patients at the QEII, in all 10 buildings across both the Halifax Infirmary and VG sites.
