6 people injured in N.S. highway collision

Six people were injured in a vehicle collision that closed part of Highway 1 in Mount Uniacke, N.S., Thursday morning.

According to Nova Scotia RCMP Cst. Mitch Thompson, officers responded to a three-vehicle collision on the highway around 10:50 a.m.

Six people were injured and two of them were critically injured. All of them were taken to hospital.

A collision reconstructionist is now on the scene.

The highway remains closed and drivers are being told to expect delays.
