After a printing error resulted in two Chase the Ace winners over the weekend, organizers say there will be changes.
Sydney Chase the Ace organizer Stephen Tobin says switching to a different kind of ticket is a less preferred option, but has not been ruled out.
"Keep the same type of ticket, but maybe customize and/or add some measures to that that will make it a bit more unique," said Tobin.
Tobin says another possible change could be the ticket provider.
"We've had several discussions with our ticket supplier and we've had several discussions with other suppliers as well," said Tobin.
Those taking part in the game say some sort of change has to happen.
"I think they've got a big problem on their hands,” said Chase the Ace participant Sheliah MacIntyre. “They've got to handle it somehow in order to give the people back the confidence."
The $1.3 million draw has been put off until March 26. Organizers say they are confident that this is only a one-week hiatus and that the chase for the jackpot will resume the following Saturday.
"When we do resume this draw, we will have all of these issues figured out," said Tobin.
The postponement means the draw will no longer coincide with the Vince Ryan Hockey Tournament – a combination that could have made for traffic nightmares.
