Crown attorneys in New Brunswick have now finished presenting evidence at a preliminary hearing into the death of a young child known as Baby Taylor.

Christine Margaret Wood is charged with attempting to murder her newborn son.

She has elected to be tried by judge alone.

The preliminary hearing is being held to determine whether there is enough evidence to proceed to trial.

A baby’s body was discovered near Taylor Road, near Monteagle, N.B. in April 2009.

There is a publication ban on evidence at the hearing.

The case resumes in September.
