Four people have been arrested after two men were stabbed in Dartmouth early Tuesday morning.

Halifax Regional Police say an officer walking in the Primrose Street area around 2:30 a.m. was approached by a citizen asking for help.

Officers responded to a nearby home, where they found a 49-year-old man and an 18-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.

They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, members of the emergency response team arrested three men and a woman in the area of Catherine Street and Farrell Road.

They remain in custody. There is no word on charges at this time.
