Police have charged two more men with attempted murder in connection with a shooting in Halifax earlier this month.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Robie and McCully streets around 2:15 a.m. on Nov. 3.
Investigators say a 48-year-old taxi driver was driving north on Robie Street with a male passenger when someone in another vehicle fired shots at the cab.
No one was injured in the shooting.
On Sunday, police arrested 24-year-old Kyle Douglas Shipley of Williamswood in connection with the incident.
Shipley is facing two counts of attempted murder as well as several other changes, including assault with a weapon, possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order, careless use of a firearm, pointing a firearm and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
Today, police charged two others in relation to the shooting.
Police arrested 24-year-old Kirk Michael Wright of Halifax Wednesday morning. He is due to appear in Halifax provincial court later today to face a slew of charges.
They include two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a weapon, careless use of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, among others.
Everett Douglas MacNeil, 24, was remanded in custody following an arrest on another matter on Nov. 5.
He is due to appear in Halifax provincial court on Nov. 23 to face a number of charges including two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a restricted weapon in a motor vehicle.
Police are still investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
