N.S. police looking for man who allegedly tried to get child into vehicle in Springhill

The Nova Scota RCMP is looking for a man who allegedly tried to get a child into a vehicle in Springhill Tuesday morning.

Police responded to a report of a man in a silver SUV approaching a child on Princess Street around 8:30 a.m., according to an RCMP news release. The child ran from the driver when he tried to get the youth into the vehicle and reported the incident to adults.

The child was not injured.

The driver is described as a white man who stands roughly five-foot-five and weighs 180 pounds. He wore a gaiter-style mask with the Boston Bruins logo, a black coat and beige pants.
