Woman seriously injured after fire in Avonport, N.S.
A woman is in critical condition after a fire in Avonport, N.S., on Thursday night.
Deputy Fire Chief Paul Maynard with the Hantsport Fire Department said crews responded to a structure fire on Bluff Road around 11:23 p.m. Responders were able to control the fire within 10 minutes.
One adult female went to hospital. There were no other reported injuries.
The fire is under investigation, but it is not deemed suspicious at this time.
