N.S. man wanted on provincewide warrant for assault, forcible confinement

The RCMP is searching for a Nova Scotia man who is currently wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant.

According to police, 54-year-old Steven Edward Goreham is facing a number of charges stemming from multiple incidents, including a break-and-enter which led to an increased police presence in Clark’s Harbour on Monday.

Police say Goreham, from Lower Clarks Harbour, is wanted for charges including but not limited to:

  •  assault
  •  forcible confinement
  •  assault by choking
  •  uttering threats (two counts)
  •  mischief
  •  resisting a peace officer
  •  break and enter (two counts)
  •  failure to comply with release conditions (16 counts)
  •  failure to comply with probation order

Goreham is described as five-foot-11 and 190 pounds, with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

Police say they made several attempts to locate Goreham and are now asking for help from the public.
