RCMP investigating break, enter and theft at business in Janeville, N.B.

RCMP in New Brunswick are investigating after a business in Janeville was broken into and a number of items were stolen.

Police believe the theft at the business on Route 11 happened between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday.

According to a news release from RCMP on Tuesday, the individual had gained entry by breaking a window, before leaving the business with a number of items including a cash register and cigarettes. The business was unoccupied at the time.

The individual is described by police as wearing a mask with a black jacket, blue jeans and rubber boots. They were also travelling in a grey vehicle, according to police.

Police are now asking anyone with information on the theft, or anyone who recognizes the individual or vehicle in the photos, to contact them at 506-548-7771.
