Three arrested after cocaine, meth seized from vehicle in Brackley: P.E.I. RCMP

The RCMP in Prince Edward Island arrested three people after drugs were found in a vehicle during a traffic stop.

Police stopped a vehicle in Brackley, P.E.I., around 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Police arrested a 39-year-old man from Monticello, P.E.I., and a 26-year-old woman from Stratford, P.E.I., for possession of cocaine and methamphetamine.

Police also arrested a 37-year-old man from Cornwall, P.E.I., for possession of cocaine and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and breaching a release order.

During a search of the vehicle, police say they seized roughly 30 grams of cocaine and methamphetamine combined.

The 39-year-old man and 26-year-old woman were released pending further investigation.

Police say the 37-year-old man was held in custody pending a future court appearance.
