Two people from Stellarton, N.S., are facing drug trafficking charges after police conducted search warrants in Pictou County earlier this month.

The RCMP searched a business in Linacy, N.S., and a residence in Stellarton on Dec. 6.

Police say officers seized a variety of exhibits, including items that support the trafficking of drugs, during the search.

Police arrested 34-year-old Colin Graham and 28-year-old Amanda Binder at the residence.

They have been charged with:

  • possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
  • possession for the purpose of trafficking (methadone)
  • possession for the purpose of trafficking (steroids)
  • possession of a prohibited weapon

Graham also faces a charge of possession of property obtained by crime.

A third person was released without charges, according to RCMP.

Graham and Binder have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Pictou provincial court on Feb. 3.
