Nova Scotia Health is searching for a patient who went missing from a Dartmouth, N.S., hospital.

A news release from the health authority Tuesday says the patient is 36-year-old Andrew Forest.

Forest is described as being five-foot-seven and 145 pounds, with brown hair shaved close to his head and a slender build.

Nova Scotia Health says he was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a red hoodie.

The health authority released an image of Forest in hopes it will help in locating him.

“The patient’s risk to himself and others increases with the length of time he is away from treatment,” reads the health authority’s news release.

Anyone with information about Forest is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.
