The IWK Health Centre says a lost bunny will soon be reunited with its rightful owner after it was left behind at the children’s hospital in Halifax last month.
Hospital officials posted a picture of the stuffed animal on Facebook in the hopes of tracking down its owner:
The post was shared more than 7,300 times on the social media site.
“This handsome fellow is hopping to be reunited with his family. He has been hare at the IWK keeping us entertained for the last two weeks but he is getting homesick. Lettuce hope by spreading the word they show up soon!”
The IWK has since determined the bunny was left behind by a young patient.
Hospital officials say the boy was visiting from out of town and it may take a few days to reunite him with his bunny.
