Halifax District RCMP is looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a collision that sent two people to hospital.
Police responded to the crash on the Timberlea Village Parkway, near Marketway Lane in Timberlea, N.S., around 1:18 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators say a dark-coloured SUV crossed over into the next lane, forcing a red Hyundai Elantra that was travelling in the opposite direction off the road.
The Elantra ended up in the ditch, where it hit several boulders.
The two female occupants were taken to hospital with minor injuries. Their vehicle sustained extensive damage.
Police are still looking for the driver of the SUV and are asking that person to come forward.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
