A male is in custody after an alleged threat at a high school in Cole Harbour, N.S.
Police responded to Cole Harbour District High School Thursday morning after receiving information about a potential threat by one student against another student at the school.
The school was placed on lockdown as a precaution.
Students say they learned of the situation about halfway through their first class, when an announcement came on the loudspeaker.
“We stay in our classroom with the door closed and we cover the windows … it’s pretty frightening,” one student told CTV Atlantic.
A male suspect was taken in to custody and the lockdown was lifted around 9:15 a.m.
No one was injured.
