The Nova Scotia RCMP is advising motorists to use caution on the roads on Sunday.
They say road conditions are poor in several areas due to snow, white-out conditions, rain and freezing rain.
RCMP have responded to multiple calls involving vehicles off the roads.
There have also been several multi-vehicle crashes including a ten car crash near Truro.
Police are reminding motorists to plan ahead, adjust their speed and allow for extra stopping distance.
