A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Sydney man wanted in connection with a home invasion.
Cape Breton Regional Police responded to a report of a home invasion on Keltic Drive in Point Edward, N.S. before 2 a.m. on Feb. 18.
One man was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and later released.
Police say 30-year-old Justin Andrew MacKinnon is facing charges of home invasion, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm in connection with the incident.
They warn that he is known to be violent and could be dangerous.
MacKinnon is described as six-feet-tall and 220 pounds, with blonde hair, blue eyes and a light complexion.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
