The Canadian Red Cross says the blaze at the building containing four apartments in Truro Heights, about 90 kilometres northeast of Halifax, broke out around 12:50 a.m. Tuesday.

No one was hurt.

Meanwhile, a house in Lower Branch, about 100 kilometres west of Halifax, was gutted by a fire on Monday evening.
