HALIFAX - The assault case against a man who used to serve as the communications director for the premier of Nova Scotia has been set over until July 22 for a plea.
Kyley Harris was in provincial court today in Halifax after he was charged for an alleged domestic incident on May 9.
Harris and his lawyer Mike Scott both declined comment outside court.
Premier Stephen McNeil fired Harris from his position last month, saying the termination was necessary because Harris waited four days to tell the government he was facing a charge.
