A Metro Transit bus driver has been charged after a pedestrian was struck in a crosswalk in Dartmouth Tuesday morning.
Police responded to the collision at the intersection of Wyse Road and Thistle Street before 8 a.m.
They say a 26-year-old woman was crossing Wyse Road in a marked crosswalk when she was hit by a Metro Transit bus that was turning onto Wyse Road from Thistle Street.
The pedestrian was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Police say the 48-year-old female bus driver was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
