Officials at Base Gagetown say several cadets were taken to hospital following an evening parade in hot weather.
Capt. Liam Mather tells New Brunswick Bell Media Radio that a number of cadets visited the on-site medical clinic following Friday's parade at the Argonaut Cadet Training Centre.
Mather says eight cadets were taken to hospital for observation, and were back at the training centre "healthy and well" within a couple of hours.
Environment Canada says the temperature – not factoring in the humidity – reached a high of 31 degrees in the Fredericton area on Friday.
