A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash on Nova Scotia’s Highway 102 outside Halifax.
RCMP were called to the scene between the exits for Enfield and Elmsdale shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday.
They say a female passenger died at the scene while a male driver was taken to hospital in Halifax.
Police say he is expected to survive.
A section of Highway 102 was closed to southbound traffic for several hours Thursday night as police scoured the crash site and crews cleaned up debris.
It re-opened around 1 a.m.
Police say a traffic analyst has been called to assist in the investigation.
