Halifax police are looking for a 17-year-old boy after a stabbing on school property in Cole Harbour, N.S.
Police and paramedics responded to Auburn Drive High School at 2:15 p.m. Thursday.
Investigators say an 18-year-old Mineville man was stabbed in the leg with a knife following a verbal altercation.
When officers arrived, the suspect had fled the scene.
The alleged victim was released at the scene after receiving treatment for minor injuries.
Police are now looking for a 17-year-old male from East Preston.
Investigators say the incident wasn’t a random act as the suspect and victim are known to one another.
