HMCS Fredericton has wrapped up its operations near Ukraine.
The department of national defense says it and five other warships are now heading back to the Mediterranean Sea after completing joint NATO training exercises in the Black Sea.
Fredericton will now resume its role as part of NATO maritime operations in the Mediterranean.
