HMCS Halifax crew wrap up run for Children's Wish

Crew members of HMCS Halifax have wrapped up a special mission to raise money for the Children's Wish Foundation.

A team of eleven officers and crew ran from Sydney to Yarmouth In support of the Children's Wish Foundation.

The group suffered a setback when someone broke into their van and stole money.

But the runners soldiered on and raised $23,000. Their goal was $40,000.

They hope some last-minute corporate donations will put them over the top.

Over the past ten years the crew of HMCS Halifax have raised more than $125,000 for the charity.
