A lobster boat sunk off the coast of Nova Scotia this morning on the first day of the season. The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax says the boat went down near Liverpool around 9:45 a.m. Two of the four people on board ended up in the water. All four were eventually rescued by another fishing vessel. Everyone is now safe. The lobster season in Southwest Nova Scotia got underway Saturday, after being delayed nearly a week due to bad weather.
