An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman are facing charges after a 23-year-old woman was stabbed in Halifax Sunday evening.
Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 3000 block of Windsor Street around 11:30 p.m.
Officers found a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was taken to hospital where she remains.
Police contained the area and a K9 unit helped officers track down the suspects, who were arrested in the 3000 block of Robie Street.
Matthew Burns of Halifax is facing charges of attempted murder, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and misleading police.
Nilam Premji, also of Halifax, is facing charges of accessory after the fact and misleading police.
Burns and Premji were remanded to the Central Nova Scotia facility overnight. They are due to appear in Halifax provincial court Tuesday.
