During Thursday’s show, Roach gave a shout-out to Cape Breton, which she calls her favourite place in Canada.
"My mom grew up like a 10-minute drive from this national park in Ingonish. My grandparents still live there, so I've been lucky enough to get to visit the, you know, just beautiful, beautiful scenery there."
She adds she has been lucky enough to visit the area about once or twice a year.
Roach first applied to be on the long-running game show in 2020. This January, she was invited to Los Angeles to tape an episode.
