Just two months into operation the owners of the Nova Scotia to Maine ferry have burned through a 21-million dollar loan from the province.
The money for Nova Star Cruises had been committed over seven years.
Economic Development Minister Michel Samson says the government wants to keep the ferry afloat.
But he isn't saying whether the province is considering subsidizing the service.
