Police in Halifax are searching for a vehicle of interest related to a vehicle-pedestrian collision that left a Dartmouth woman with serious injuries.

Police responded to the report of the collision at the intersection of Cole Harbour Road and Caldwell Road around 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 22. At the time, police said a vehicle was turning right onto Cole Harbour Road when it hit the pedestrian, who had right-of-way to cross.

RCMP added that a second vehicle, a white sedan, had also hit the pedestrian, and both vehicles fled the scene.

Police are looking for a dark-coloured Subaru SUV which was seen at a gas station in the vicinity of the collision, as they believe the driver may have information on the incident.

Police describe the driver of the vehicle as a while man wearing a blue jacket and a ball hat.

Anyone with information is asked by police to contact then at 902-490-5020 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
