The RCMP are investigating after someone vandalized a church and crosswalk sign in western New Brunswick.
Police responded to the Catholic Church on Church Street in Bath Saturday morning. They say someone painted an upside down cross and the numbers ‘666’ on the main doors of the church in red paint.
A nearby crosswalk sign was also vandalized with what police believe is the same red paint used at the church.
Investigators say the incident would have happened sometime between Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
