A search is underway for a 71-year-old Tracadie, N.B. man reported missing last week.
Marcel Richard was last seen walking north on Principale Street in Sheila, N.B., near La Caisse Populaire, shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday.
He was reported missing by his family around 4 p.m. when he failed to return home.
An RCMP helicopter, K9 unit, members of the Chaleur and Miramichi ground search and rescue teams and local volunteers have been assisting in the search for Richard.
Police say he may be disoriented due to a medical condition and his wallet and vehicle were left at his home.
Richard is described as five-foot-eight inches tall and 200 pounds, with short grey hair, green eyes and prescription glasses.
He was last seen wearing a grey jacket and beige pants.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
