HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY, N.L. -- Six people are due in court today after being arrested during a protest at the Muskrat Falls development site in Labrador.
Police in Happy Valley-Goose Bay say protesters blocked the entrance to Nalcor's hydroelectric site Thursday to protest the mega-project.
A court order was issued Friday to force them to leave the Nalcor property.
But police say five people refused to leave and were arrested Sunday around noon.
They say another group then arrived on site and one protester was arrested.
They were held overnight and are scheduled to appear in provincial court to face charges of obstruction and breaching a court order.
