Storm Watch: School closures, cancellations
Nova Scotia
- Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education: Schools in Pictou County and Tatamagouche Regional Academy are closed due to the weather forecast and road conditions. Offices and work sites remain open.
- Strait Regional Centre for Education: All schools are closed due to weather conditions.
- Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education: Classes are cancelled at North Highlands Elementary, Cabot School, Cape Smokey Elementary, Baddeck Academy, Middle River School, Rankin School of the Narrows.
- CSAP: NDA School is closed. Classes are cancelled at École Beau-Port, École Belle-Baie and École acadienne de Pomquet. The Petit-de-Grat office is closed until 10 a.m.
- NSCC: Strait Area Campus and the Wagmatcook Learning Centre are closed.
New Brunswick
- There are no school closures in New Brunswick.
Prince Edward Island
- Public Schools Branch: Classes at the Souris, Morell and Montague families of schools are cancelled. All other families of schools will proceed following a one-hour delay.
- French Language School Board: All classes will be delayed by one hour. A new announcement will be made by 8 a.m.
- UPEI is delaying opening until noon at both the Charlottetown and St. Peter’s Bay campuses.
