Police say several people are facing charges in connection with a robbery and stabbing at a high school in Cole Harbour, N.S.

RCMP and paramedics responded to Auburn Drive High School at 2:15 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators say an 18-year-old Mineville, N.S. man was stabbed in the leg with a knife following a verbal altercation.

When police arrived on scene, the suspects had fled the scene.

Police say the incident was not a random act as the suspects and victim were known to one another.

Three suspects were arrested after turning themselves in to police on Friday. One male was released without charges.

A 17-year-old male is facing charges including robbery, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

A 20-year-old female is charged with robbery. Both suspects were remanded into custody and are due in court Tuesday.

Police are still looking for an 18-year-old female suspect in connection with the incident.
