Two people are in hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle collision on Nova Scotia’s Highway 101.
RCMP responded to the crash near Ellershouse, located roughly 15 km from Windsor, at approximately 11:40 a.m. Wednesday.
“A single vehicle travelling westbound between exits 3 and 4 lost control on the highway, crossed the median, and rolled over and ended up in the eastbound lane,” says Windsor RCMP Staff Sgt. Dan Austin.
Police say a passenger was taken to hospital in Windsor with serious injuries while the driver was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The highway was shut down for several hours while police investigated the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
