An insurance and financial advisor took the stand on Day 21 of Dennis Oland's second-degree murder trial.

Anthony Shaw told the court that he often stops at the printing shop located below Richard Oland's office after work. He said he stopped at the shop on July 6, 2011 and heard loud thumping sounds coming from upstairs.

But Shaw said he assumed people were simply working late, and may have been moving furniture or hanging a picture on the wall.

He also testified that he saw no one enter or leave Oland's office that night.

The body of the 69-year-old businessman was discovered in a pool of blood in his office on July 7, 2011.

His son, Dennis Oland, has been charged with second-degree murder. He has pleaded not guilty.
