RCMP in New Brunswick are investigating the discovery of a woman’s body on a road north of Fredericton.
Police say the woman’s body was found along Killarney Road just before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigators have yet to identify the woman and say the circumstances surrounding her death remain a mystery at this time.
“What I can tell you at this time is that nothing has been ruled out, it’s still under investigation,” says RCMP Cpl. Chantal Farrah.
“As you can appreciate, we only got the call this afternoon, so investigators are on the scene, combing the area for evidence and any clues that could assist us in determining what happened to this lady.”
Police have closed Killarney Road and say it could be closed for several hours.
