Police in New Brunswick say alcohol may have been a factor in the single-vehicle crash that left a 16-year-old girl dead.

The teen died at the scene and the vehicle’s four other occupants were hurt after the vehicle left the road and ended up in a field, Woodstock RCMP say.

The crash happened just before midnight on Saturday on Route 560 in Williamstown, N.B., police say.

RCMP say their investigation in ongoing.
