Kennebecasis Regional Police say the body of a missing fisherman has been found.
Police say the 70-year-old man went fishing during the day on Monday. He was reported missing around 10 p.m. when he failed to return home.
Police launched an extensive search in the Barsa Subdivision area of Rothesay, N.B. after the man’s canoe was found overturned in a pond.
Members of the River Valley Search and Rescue found the man’s body Tuesday morning.
Police say an autopsy will be conducted to determine a cause of death.
