Hi Everyone!
I had the pleasure of meeting Rich Aucoin today… and I have to say, he’s as cool as his music. The Halifax-native is home for East Coast Music Week (where he’s nominated for 4 ECMAs), plus, he's putting on an all-ages show tonight at the Halifax Pavilion. I haven’t been to one of his shows (yet), but from what I’ve heard, it’s the most fun you’ll ever have at a concert! Can't wait!
In a time when it’s so hard to do something original, Rich is producing a sound all his own… and people love it! His latest album “We’re All Dying to Live” has received a plethora of critical (and fan) praise. It’s on shelves and iTunes, right now.
He’s also gained quite a reputation for his videos. “It” is up for this year’s ‘Fans Choice Video of the Year’ at the ECMAs, and “Brian Wilson is A.L.I.V.E” is a contender for the Prism Prize, an honour that recognizes artistry in Canadian music videos. You can check out both tracks, below.
