The provincial fire marshall is investigating a fire at a propane storage facility in Cornwall, P.E.I.
Firefighters and police officers responded to the facility on W.B. MacPhail Drive just after 3 a.m. Monday.
A person passing by noticed the fire and called 911.
Firefighters say they found the cab portion of a tractor-trailer engulfed in flames. A large cylinder containing propane was attached to the truck at the time.
Fire crews managed to quickly put out the flames before they spread to any propane tanks.
The fire remains under investigation.
