DOW SETTLEMENT, N.B. -- A woman is dead and her eight-month-old son is in serious condition after a head-on collision in western New Brunswick.
RCMP say the two cars collided around 12:30 p.m. Friday on Route 122 in Dow Settlement, near Woodstock.
They say the driver of one vehicle, a 24-year-old woman, died while being taken to hospital.
Her baby was taken to a hospital in Fredericton in serious condition.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 47-year-old woman, was also taken to hospital in serious condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
