A 22-year-old man is in hospital after a serious two-vehicle collision in Greenfield, N.S. Friday night.

RCMP, EHS and Salmon River Fire responded to a call about the crash around 10:00 p.m.

Police say a car truck collided but they are still unsure about exactly what caused the crash.

The driver of the car was taken to the Colchester East Hants Health Centre with serious injuries and later transferred to the QEII Hospital in Halifax.

The 44-year-old driver of the truck was arrested for impaired driving causing bodily harm. He was not injured in the accident.
