A man is dead following a fire at an apartment building in Campbellton, N.B.
The RCMP and fire crews responded to the Central Street apartment around 1:15 a.m. Thursday.
Police say the fire was limited to one unit in the building and that the body of a 51-year-old man was found inside.
The other tenants living in the building were moved to a hotel for the night.
Police and the fire marshal are investigating the cause of the fire and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
