FREDERICTON -- New Brunswick municipalities and local service districts will receive almost $73 million in community funding and equalization grants from the province for 2015.
That's an increase of $1.2 million from 2014.
Local Government Minister Brian Kenny says the total tax assessment base across the province increased by 3.1 per cent over the 2014 base.
Moncton will see a grant reduction of $3.2 million, while Fredericton will get $1.2 million less.
Miramichi is getting an increase in grant funding of $1.5 million, while Saint John gets an extra $1.3 million.
