Police are renewing calls for clues in the death of a Dartmouth, N.S. businessman who was killed a year ago.

James Alexander 'Sandy' Lyle, 55, who owned The Rodeo Lounge in Dartmouth, was shot to death on Feb. 19, 2012.

Police discovered Lyle's body on the shoulder of Montague Road in Montague Gold Mines around 10:30 that night.

Investigators also collected evidence from a home at 14 Cannon Terrace, which provincial records indicate belongs to the victim and Carla Balsor, in connection with the case.
